Decks built to last.
Trex, TimberTech, and pressure-treated decks across Hartford and Tolland Counties. From small back-deck additions to multi-level wraparound builds — engineered, permitted, and crew-built.

A deck that handles 25 New England winters.
Connecticut decks face freeze-thaw cycles, road salt, and hot summer humidity. The wrong materials, wrong fastening, and wrong ledger flashing add up to a deck that's rotting in 6 years and falling off the house in 12.
We build decks the right way: ledger boards properly flashed and lag-bolted, joists at code-spec spacing, footings poured below frost line, composite or pressure-treated decking installed with hidden fasteners.

Common questions.
How much does a new deck cost in Connecticut?
A standard 12x16 pressure-treated deck runs $9,000-$15,000. A composite deck of the same size runs $18,000-$30,000. Multi-level builds, stairs, railings, and screened-in porches add 30-100% to base cost.
Do I need a permit for a deck?
Yes. Any deck over 200 sq ft, attached to the house, or above 30 inches off the ground requires a Connecticut building permit and footing inspection. We handle every step.
Trex vs pressure-treated wood?
Pressure-treated is 30-50% cheaper upfront but requires staining/sealing every 1-3 years and typically needs replacement at 15-20 years. Composite (Trex/TimberTech) is more expensive upfront but maintenance-free and lasts 25-40 years. For most CT homeowners staying 10+ years, composite pays back.
